Questions about ribbon printing
How will my ribbon be printed?
We print in the so-called digital printing. In this process, a white base ribbon is printed on both sides in any pantone color. For this we use a carrier foil on which the motif (logo color and ribbon color) is applied and transferred to the ribbon by means of heat. The print is 100% abrasion resistant and pleasantly smooth.
Is there a minimum order quantity for printed ribbons?
Yes. The smallest possible quantity is 100m per item, width and motif.
How many colors can my design have?
Since we print in digital printing, the number of colors does not matter. Almost any Pantone color up to printing gradients can be implemented in digital transfer printing and there are no limits to the number of colors per motif. Please specify your colors in Pantone C (coated).
How do I have to deliver my data for tape printing?
Please upload your individual motif directly at the order entry in the following formats to get an optimal quality: eps,ai, jpeg, pdf.
Please make sure that your file has a resolution of at least 200 to 300 dpi. Preferably vector files, fonts converted to paths.
Do I get a proof before printing?
Yes. Our customers receive a digital layout for approval before printing. We will start printing only after your written approval and after we receive your payment.
Does my logo or design repeat on the tape?
Yes, depending on the repeat length, the logo or design will repeat several times on one meter.
Can I return custom printed ribbons that were made just for me?
No, unfortunately this is not possible with individualized items.
What are the delivery times for printed ribbons?
The delivery times for printed ribbons are 10-12 working days after approval of the layout and receipt of payment.
General questions about products
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes, this differs for the different items. The smallest possible quantity is 10m or 10 pieces.
Can I also get special colors?
Special colors are possible for some articles if a minimum quantity of 5,000 meters or pieces or more is purchased. It depends on the article and the color you want. Please contact our customer service: by mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone: 02192/ 85 12 90.
Is there a minimum order value?
No. There is no minimum order value.
I have received an incorrect or defective product
If you have received a wrong product by mistake or if a product is damaged or defective, please contact our customer service by e-mail or by phone. In any case, it would be very helpful for us if you would send us a photo of the product
Can you also cut my ribbons?
Yes, this is possible. Please contact our customer service. From 200m order quantity, we can cut your desired length by hot cutting (in one cutting length). However, this has a small extra charge. Please contact our customer service.
Can you also sew or make up my desired ribbons forme?
Yes, it is possible. However, it is subject to minimum quantities. Please contact our customer service. Pfeiffer has a large in-house sewing and ready-to-wear department.
Can I return tapes cut or made up especially for me?
No, unfortunately this is not possible. Only roll goods can be returned.
